Q4 2020 Performance of Top Merge Games on Android in the US

The merge game genre has seen a variety of titles competing for players' attention on the Android platform. Sensor Tower's data provides us with a clear look at how five key players performed in the United States during the fourth quarter of 2020.

Puppy Town - Merge & Win, despite generating no revenue, maintained a steady presence with downloads peaking at 112K in late November and then tapering off to 30K by the year's end. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting strong at 288K in late September and declining to 144K by the close of December.

Impostor Academy－Match & Merge saw a significant surge in downloads with an impressive peak of 180K in early December. Revenue for the game began to materialize in December, reaching a modest but growing figure of $358. The active user base grew rapidly, hitting a high of 264K in the same period.

Merge Dragons! from Zynga demonstrated strong revenue performance, with a notable increase from $1M in late September to over $1.2M by the year's end. Downloads saw a slight decrease from 33K to 18K, while weekly active users remained fairly steady, ending the quarter at around 398K.

Big Fish Games' EverMerge: Match 3 Puzzle Game showcased consistent revenue growth, jumping from $217K to $492K in the final week of December. Downloads reached their peak at 33K in late November, and weekly active users saw a gradual increase, concluding the quarter at 84K.

Lastly, Merge Mansion by Metacore Games Oy experienced a revenue increase from $7K to over $106K. Downloads more than tripled, from 6K to 24K, and the game's active users rose significantly from 3.9K to 45.6K by the end of December.
